So,in continuation to my post yesterday. With such luck, a DPP member has some FD lenses at his disposal from his Canon AE-1. I was using an AV-1, which also fits on the same lens :). This is what I adopted.

Sir Bong sold this to me for Php600. I was so happy (and frustrated from work) that I took a half-day to meet with him at Burger King Glorietta, I didn’t bring anything but my av-1, money and a roll of film so the pictures will have to wait until I get the rolls developed. The anticipation of film :)

Anyway, more about the “EB” I was waiting for Sir Bong to drop by (he got distracted by film lol!) and it was nice to have finally met someone in DPP in the flesh.

So he sat, and we talked about a LOT of stuff regarding film photography. It was really fascinating. He knows the darkroom techniques, taught me how to read the Aperture/DoF scale in the Kitstar lens, told me about his 11-year old kid who was into Manual Film Photography and how his film stash and his pot of silver was thrown out by his mom.

We had a lot of laughs. And it was time for both of us to go, with both of us saying “Nice meeting you” at the same time. And he told me we should shoot together in the future.

That would really be awesome. :)
