I really don’t get the whole Miss, bawal ang camera dito (Miss, cameras are not allowed here) bit. Sometimes they do it, sometimes they don’t. The whole inconsistency of prohibition is both fascinating and yet sometimes amusing. I would ask security guards permission to take the most mundane of objects to shoot (like a cat or a duck), and they would amiably agree with a smile, but sometimes in the MRT station or in The Fort for that matter, it’s not what you’d expect.
